Comparison review
The Huawei nova 5T has an overall score of 80.8, which is slightly better than the Moto G8's 74.4 global score. Both devices we compare here include the same Android 10 operating system, so both should provide all the same OS features. Although the Huawei nova 5T and the Moto G8 were released only 6 months apart, the Huawei nova 5T is somewhat thinner and just a bit lighter.
The Huawei nova 5T features a bit faster CPU than Moto G8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei nova 5T also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Huawei nova 5T counts with a much better looking screen than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1080 x 2340px and much more pixels per display inch.
The Huawei nova 5T takes much better videos and photos than Moto G8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing images and/or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Huawei nova 5T also counts with a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back.
The Motorola Moto G8 has a greater storage for games and applications than Huawei nova 5T, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Motorola Moto G8 features just a little better battery lifetime than Huawei nova 5T, because it has a 7% greater battery capacity.
Although Huawei nova 5T is a better device, it costs a lot more than Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto G8. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Moto G8, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
