Comparison review
Huawei P30 is a little bit better than Moto G8, having an 81.7 score against 74.4. Huawei P30's design is thinner and somewhat lighter than Moto G8, despite of the fact that it was released around 11 months before. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so they should provide you very similar OS features.
The Huawei P30 counts with a much better screen than Moto G8, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per display inch and a much better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Moto G8 features a quite bigger memory to install games and applications than Huawei P30, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 512 GB.
The Huawei P30 counts with a little better performance than Motorola Moto G8, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei P30 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Huawei P30 takes better photographs and videos than Moto G8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light captures, and they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rate, the Huawei P30 also counts with a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
The Motorola Moto G8 counts with just a bit longer battery performance than Huawei P30, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei P30 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto G8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei P30, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Moto G8, resigning some specifications.
