Huawei P40 has an overall score of 86.4, which is better than Motorola Moto G8's global score of 74.4. Both of these phones include the same Android 10 OS (Operating System). Although Huawei P40 and Motorola Moto G8 were released only 1 months apart, Huawei P40 is just a bit lighter and a bit thinner.
Huawei P40 features a brighter display than Moto G8, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher display pixel density and a way better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. Motorola Moto G8 has a better memory to install applications and games than Huawei P40, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports up to 512 GB.
Huawei P40 has a little faster processing unit than Motorola Moto G8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 also has 2 GB more RAM.
