Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is much better than Moto G8, having a score of 88.2 against 74.4. Huawei P40 Pro is a a little bit heavier phone than Moto G8, but both have the same thickness. Both of these devices have the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't see any difference in that aspect. Huawei P40 Pro features just a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G8, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei P40 Pro features a brighter display than Motorola Moto G8, because it has a bit larger screen, a way better display pixel density and a way better 1200 x 2640 resolution. Moto G8 counts with a better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Huawei P40 Pro features just a little bit longer battery performance than Moto G8, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity. Huawei P40 Pro features a much better camera than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for taking photos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a way better 50 MP resolution back facing camera and better video frame rate.
