The LG V30S ThinQ has a score of 82.5, which is better than the Motorola Moto G8's global score of 74.4. These phones include Android OS, but LG V30S ThinQ has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Motorola Moto G8 has Android 10, giving a couple additional features and performance enhancements. Although LG V30S ThinQ is older than the Motorola Moto G8, it's body is lighter and thinner.

The LG V30S ThinQ features a much more vibrant display than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2880 and way more pixels per screen inch. LG V30S ThinQ counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games than Moto G8, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage.

LG V30S ThinQ features a little bit better performance than Motorola Moto G8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the LG V30S ThinQ also has more RAM. The LG V30S ThinQ shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto G8, and although they both have a 16 megapixels back facing camera, the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a bigger aperture.

The Motorola Moto G8 has greater battery lifetime than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is way more expensive than Motorola Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Moto G8. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Motorola Moto G8, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
