LG V40 ThinQ has an overall score of 81.2, which is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G8's 74.4 score. Even though the LG V40 ThinQ is older than Motorola Moto G8, it's construction is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter. Both phones in this review have the same Android 10 OS (Operating System).

The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a way better looking display than Motorola Moto G8, and although they both have a display of the same size, the LG V40 ThinQ also has much more pixels per inch of screen and a much higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. LG V40 ThinQ has a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Moto G8, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The LG V40 ThinQ has a bit superior CPU than Moto G8, and although they both have 8 cores, the LG V40 ThinQ also has more RAM. LG V40 ThinQ has just a bit better camera than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a lot worse resolution camera, it also counts with a larger aperture.

Moto G8 has improved battery life than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.

Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, LG V40 ThinQ is also cheaper.
