Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is just a bit better than Motorola Moto G8, with a 78.5 score against 74.4. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but Motorola Edge 30 Fusion has a newer 12 version and Motorola Moto G8 has Android 10 version, giving you a couple additional features and performance enhancements. The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion construction is way newer, somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than Motorola Moto G8.
The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion features a much sharper screen than Moto G8, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2400, a much higher display pixel density and a little bit larger screen. Moto G8 counts with a bigger storage for games and applications than Motorola Edge 30 Fusion, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
Motorola Moto G8 features a much better performing processing unit than Motorola Edge 30 Fusion, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion takes much better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs and video in low light situations, it also counts with a much higher 7680x4320 video quality and a camera with lot more megapixels.
The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion features a little longer battery life than Moto G8, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
