Comparison review
The Moto G31 has an overall score of 77, which is a little bit better than Motorola Moto G8's 74.4 score. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but Moto G31 has newer 11 version and Motorola Moto G8 has Android 10 version, so it gives some additional features and performance optimizations. The Moto G31 design is newer, a little lighter and just a bit thinner than the Motorola Moto G8.
Motorola Moto G31 counts with a sharper screen than Motorola Moto G8, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Motorola Moto G31 also has a much better resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a much higher display pixel density. Moto G31 and Moto G8 have extremely similar processors, both of them have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores.
Moto G31 takes slightly better videos and photos than Moto G8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Moto G31 also counts with a back-facing camera with a way better resolution. Moto G31 features a bigger memory for games and applications than Moto G8, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Moto G31 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
The Moto G31 has better battery duration than Motorola Moto G8, because it has a 25% bigger battery capacity.
