Moto Z2 Force Edition has a global score of 77.4, which is slightly better than Moto G8's 74.4 general score. Moto Z2 Force Edition is an incredibly older cellphone than the Moto G8, but Motorola managed to build it noticeably lighter and much thinner anyway. The Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition has a bit more powerful CPU than Motorola Moto G8. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
Moto Z2 Force Edition counts with a much sharper display than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a way higher pixels number per display inch. The Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition counts with a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Moto G8, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB.
Motorola Moto G8 features a slightly better camera than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola Moto G8 also has a way better resolution back camera and a larger aperture to take better low-light images and video.
Motorola Moto G8 has a way better battery lifetime than Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 2730mAh.
Although Moto Z2 Force Edition is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola Moto G8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Moto Z2 Force Edition, else you can save some dollars and buy the Motorola Moto G8, resigning a couple features and specs.
