Moto Z3 is a bit better than the Moto G8, with a 77.6 score against 74.4. The Moto Z3 body is somewhat lighter and a lot thinner than the Moto G8, although it was released only 19 months before. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Moto Z3 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Moto G8 has Android 10 version.

The Motorola Moto G8 has a little bit better camera than Moto Z3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Moto G8 also has a back camera with a lot better resolution and a larger aperture for better photos and videos in low light environments.
The Motorola Moto Z3 is more expensive than the Motorola Moto G8, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
