Motorola razr (2020) is much better than the Moto G8, with an 87 score against 74.4. The Motorola razr (2020) body is just a bit heavier but somewhat thinner than Moto G8, and they were only released with a couple months difference. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but Motorola razr (2020) has a more recent 11 version while Moto G8 has Android 10, providing the user some extra features and improved performance.
Motorola razr (2020) has just a bit better looking screen than Moto G8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels amount per inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 876 x 2142 pixels. The Motorola razr (2020) features a bigger memory to install games and applications than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage.
The Motorola razr (2020) features a bit superior processor than Moto G8, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Motorola razr (2020) also has a larger amount of RAM. The Motorola razr (2020) shoots much better videos and photos than Motorola Moto G8, and although they both have a F1.7 camera aperture, the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola razr (2020) also has a back camera with a way better resolution.
The Motorola Moto G8 features a way better battery duration than Motorola razr (2020), because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
Although Motorola razr (2020) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Moto G8. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Motorola razr (2020), but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Moto G8, resigning some features and specifications.
