Comparison review

Galaxy Fold is much better than the Motorola Moto G8, getting a general score of 97.6 against 74.4. Even though the Galaxy Fold and the Motorola Moto G8 were released only 5 months apart, Galaxy Fold's construction is way thinner but a lot heavier. These devices have Android OS, but Galaxy Fold has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Moto G8 has Android 10, providing you some additional features.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a better screen than Motorola Moto G8, because it has a way higher 1536 x 2152 resolution, a higher pixels amount per inch in the display and a quite larger display. Galaxy Fold features a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Moto G8, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold has just a little better processing power than Moto G8, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has more RAM memory. Galaxy Fold counts with just a little better battery lifetime than Motorola Moto G8, because it has a 10 percent bigger battery size.

Samsung Galaxy Fold takes a bit better photographs and videos than Moto G8, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a way less mega-pixels back facing camera, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photography and videos.

Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is way more expensive than Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Fold, else you can save some dollars and buy the Moto G8, letting go a couple specs and features.
