Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a score of 79.3, which is slightly better than Motorola Moto G8's 74.4 score. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is an much older phone than the Motorola Moto G8, but Samsung was able to build it a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has an older 5.1 version and Motorola Moto G8 has Android 10 version.

Motorola Moto G8 has a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Motorola Moto G8 also has more CPU cores. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a much sharper display than Moto G8, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better 2560 x 1440px resolution and a lot more pixels per inch of screen.

The Moto G8 has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Moto G8 also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Moto G8 features better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.

The Galaxy Note 5 captures a little bit better photos and videos than Moto G8, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs and/or video in poorly lited situations, they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same video definition and a 16 mega pixels camera in the back.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Motorola Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola Moto G8. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Motorola Moto G8, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
