Comparison review

The Galaxy S5 is a little bit better than Moto G8, having an 80.8 score against 74.4. The Galaxy S5 is an notably older phone than Moto G8, but Samsung was able to make it just a little thinner and extremely lighter anyway. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S5 has 4.4.2 version and Moto G8 has Android 10, giving some additional features.

Samsung Galaxy S5 has a little bit better performance than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processor. The Galaxy S5 features a much sharper display than Moto G8, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1920 x 1080px resolution and a way better display density.

Motorola Moto G8 has a much greater storage for applications and games than Galaxy S5, because it has an external SD slot that admits up to 512 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy S5 takes slightly better photos and videos than Moto G8, although it has a way tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light captures and video, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a back facing camera with a 16 mega pixels resolution and the same video frame rates.

The Motorola Moto G8 has a really longer battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Motorola Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Moto G8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S5, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Motorola Moto G8, resigning some features and specs.
