Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is a little bit better than Motorola Moto G8, with a 78.1 score against 74.4. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has 4.4.2 version and Motorola Moto G8 has Android 10, offering a couple nice extra features. Despite of the fact that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is noticeably older than the Motorola Moto G8, it's design is extremely lighter and just a little bit thinner.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a much sharper screen than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and way more pixels per inch in the screen. The Motorola Moto G8 has a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has less RAM and an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a graphics processing unit. Moto G8 features a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 2800mAh.

The Motorola Moto G8 and the Galaxy S5 Plus feature incredibly similar cameras, and although the Galaxy S5 Plus has a lot smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for capturing photos or videos in poorly lited environments, they both have a same resolution back camera, the same video frame rate and the same video definition.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is a bit more expensive than the Moto G8, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
