Comparison review

The Galaxy S7 edge has a score of 78.1, which is a bit better than the Moto G8's 74.4 general score. The Galaxy S7 edge body is thinner and lighter than Moto G8, even though it was released 4 years before. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but Galaxy S7 edge has 8.0 Oreo version and Moto G8 has Android 10, providing the user some extra features.

The Motorola Moto G8 has a bit faster CPU than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Motorola Moto G8 also has more cores. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features a sharper screen than Moto G8, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher display pixel density and a way better 1440 x 2560px resolution.

The Moto G8 features a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 64 GB internal storage and an external memory slot that admits up to 512 GB. Galaxy S7 edge counts with a camera that is very similar to the camera in Moto G8, and although the Galaxy S7 edge has a worse video resolution and a much worse resolution camera, they both have a same size camera aperture.

The Motorola Moto G8 features a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 3600mAh.

Although Galaxy S7 edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy S7 edge, else you can save some dollars and get the Moto G8, resigning a couple specs and features.
