Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a general score of 91.1, which is way better than Moto G8's 74.4 general score. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has 14 version and Moto G8 has Android 10 version, so it offers some extra features and a performance increase. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition's design is a lot heavier but extremely thinner than the Moto G8.

Motorola Moto G8 counts with a way better hardware performance than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has 12 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has an incredibly better display than Moto G8, because it has a bigger display, a much higher 1968 x 2184 pixels resolution and a higher pixels density.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a very superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Moto G8, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition counts with a bit longer battery performance than Motorola Moto G8, because it has a 10% greater battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition takes much better photos and videos than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for shooting images or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way more mega pixels back facing camera.

Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola Moto G8. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Motorola Moto G8, resigning a couple features and specifications.
