Comparison review

The Xperia 1 has a general score of 82.6, which is better than Moto G8's overall score of 74.4. Despite of the fact that the Xperia 1 is older than Moto G8, it's construction is just a bit thinner and a little lighter. Sony Xperia 1 counts with an incredibly better looking screen than Motorola Moto G8, because it has a way greater pixel density, a quite bigger display and a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels.

Xperia 1 features a bit better processor than Moto G8, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia 1 also has a larger amount of RAM. Xperia 1 has a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Moto G8, and although they both have an external memory slot that holds up to 512 GB, the Xperia 1 also has 64 GB more internal memory capacity.

Moto G8 has improved battery duration than Xperia 1, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. Moto G8 and Sony Xperia 1 feature extremely similar cameras, because although the Sony Xperia 1 has a worse (4K) video definition and a camera in the back with a much lower 12 mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a larger camera aperture.

Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola Moto G8. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Motorola Moto G8, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
