Comparison review

The Sony Xperia 1 II is much better than Motorola Moto G8, having a 91 score against 74.4. Both devices we compare here include Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia 1 II has 11 version and Motorola Moto G8 has Android 10 version. Although Sony Xperia 1 II and the Motorola Moto G8 were released with only a couple months difference, Sony Xperia 1 II is somewhat thinner and a bit lighter.

The Sony Xperia 1 II features just a little better performance than Moto G8, and although they both have 8 cores, the Sony Xperia 1 II also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Xperia 1 II counts with a much more vibrant screen than Moto G8, because it has a lot better 1644 x 3840 resolution, a lot better pixel amount per screen inch and a little bigger display.

The Xperia 1 II features a superior memory to install games and applications than Moto G8, because it has 192 GB more internal storage and an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. Xperia 1 II features a little bit better camera than Moto G8, although it has a back camera with lot less mega-pixels resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, they both have the same aperture.

Xperia 1 II has a battery life that is just as good as Motorola Moto G8's battery performance.
