Xperia 1 V is better than the Motorola Moto G8, with an 82.7 score against 74.4. Xperia 1 V's design is a lot newer, just a little lighter and just a little thinner than Motorola Moto G8. These phones include Android operating system, but the Xperia 1 V has newer 13 version and Motorola Moto G8 has Android 10 version, providing some additional features.

The Sony Xperia 1 V features a more vivid screen than Moto G8, because it has a lot higher 1644 x 3840 resolution, a little bigger display and a way greater count of pixels per inch in the screen. The Motorola Moto G8 features a much faster processing unit than Sony Xperia 1 V, although it has 8 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
