Comparison review

Sony Xperia 5 II has a global score of 87.2, which is better than the Moto G8's 74.4 global score. The Sony Xperia 5 II is a lighter and thinner phone than Moto G8, even though both of them were released with only a few months difference. Xperia 5 II counts with a sharper display than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 1080 x 2520 resolution and a lot more pixels per screen inch.

The Sony Xperia 5 II features just a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has more RAM memory. Xperia 5 II features just a bit better camera than Motorola Moto G8, although it has a worse video quality and a much lower resolution back facing camera, they both have a F1.7 camera aperture.

Xperia 5 II features a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Moto G8, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1000 GB and 128 GB internal memory. The Xperia 5 II and Motorola Moto G8 both feature really similar batteries.

Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G8. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Sony Xperia 5 II, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Moto G8, resigning a couple features and specs.
