The Xperia PRO is a lot better than Moto G8, getting a general score of 94.3 against 74.4. Both of these phones include the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so they should count with the same OS features. Xperia PRO's construction is newer, but somewhat thicker and heavier than Moto G8. The Xperia PRO features a little better performance than Motorola Moto G8, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia PRO also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia PRO features a lot better looking display than Moto G8, because it has a way higher screen pixel density, a little bigger display and a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels. Xperia PRO features a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Motorola Moto G8, because it has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 512 GB internal storage.
The Sony Xperia PRO's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery performance in Motorola Moto G8. Xperia PRO captures just a bit better videos and photos than Moto G8, although it has a worse video resolution and a lot worse 12 megapixels resolution camera, they both have a F1.7 camera aperture.
Although Xperia PRO is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Motorola Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Moto G8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia PRO, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Motorola Moto G8, resigning a couple specifications.
