Xperia XZs has a score of 77.2, which is just a bit better than Moto G8's score of 74.4. Although Xperia XZs is much older than the Moto G8, it's body is lighter and just a little bit thinner. Motorola Moto G8 counts with a bit better processing unit than Sony Xperia XZs, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Motorola Moto G8 also has more CPU cores.
The Xperia XZs features a more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a much better quantity of pixels per screen inch. Sony Xperia XZs counts with a way better camera than Moto G8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light images, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Sony Xperia XZs also counts with faster 960 frames per second video frame rate and a back-facing camera with more mega-pixels.
The Motorola Moto G8 features a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia XZs, because it has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory. Motorola Moto G8 features a much better battery life than Sony Xperia XZs, because it has a 38 percent bigger battery size.
Although Xperia XZs is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto G8. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia XZs, else you can save some dollars and get the Moto G8, resigning a couple features and specs.
