Comparison review

Xperia Z5 has an overall score of 77.6, which is just a bit better than Moto G8's overall score of 74.4. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Xperia Z5 has older 5.1 version and Moto G8 has Android 10 version. Xperia Z5's construction is lighter and thinner than the Moto G8, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.

The Sony Xperia Z5 features a bit superior processor than Moto G8, because although it has less RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with an extra GPU. Xperia Z5 features an incredibly better looking display than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot better count of pixels per inch of screen and a better resolution of 1920 x 1080px.

The Moto G8 counts with much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia Z5, because it has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 32 GB more internal memory capacity. The Xperia Z5 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Moto G8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing pictures in low-light environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a way more megapixels back facing camera.

The Motorola Moto G8 features a superior battery duration than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a 38 percent larger battery size.

Although Xperia Z5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Moto G8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xperia Z5, else you can save some money and buy the Moto G8, letting go some features and specifications.
