Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX has an overall score of 76.2, which is slightly better than Motorola Moto G8's 74.4 global score. Xiaomi Mi MIX's design is thinner than Motorola Moto G8, but it's just a little heavier and was released 3 years before. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi MIX has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version and Motorola Moto G8 has Android 10, so it gives you a couple additional features.
Xiaomi Mi MIX has a brighter screen than Moto G8, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xiaomi Mi MIX also has a greater pixel count in each inch of screen and a better resolution of 1080 x 2040px. The Moto G8 features just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Moto G8 also has more CPU cores (although slower).
The Motorola Moto G8 features a better storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Mi MIX features a camera that is very similar to Moto G8's camera, and although the Xiaomi Mi MIX has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low-light images, they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same resolution camera.
Xiaomi Mi MIX features just a bit better battery performance than Motorola Moto G8, because it has a 10 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Moto G8. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX, else you can save some dollars and get the Motorola Moto G8, resigning a couple specifications.
