Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a global score of 81.2, which is a bit better than the Motorola Moto G8's 74.4 score. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is an noticeably older phone than the Motorola Moto G8, but Xiaomi managed to make it thinner and a little bit lighter anyway. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a little bit better processing power than Moto G8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a larger amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a quite bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Moto G8, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Motorola Moto G8 has longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3400mAh. Moto G8 features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Moto G8 also has a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light captures and videos and a back-facing camera with way more MP.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto G8. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Moto G8, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
