Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is slightly better than Motorola Moto G8, having a 76.6 score against 74.4. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's construction has the same thickness than the Motorola Moto G8, but it is just a little heavier. These phones use the same Android 10 operating system, so both of them should count with identical operating system features.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a CPU that is very similar to Moto G8's processor, and although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a better display than Moto G8, because it has a quite larger display, a better pixel quantity in each inch of display and a way better resolution of 1080 x 2340.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much better camera than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for taking photos and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a way more megapixels camera.
Motorola Moto G8 features a better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Motorola Moto G8 also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features greater battery life than Motorola Moto G8, because it has a 26% greater battery size.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a better device, it is more expensive than the Motorola Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Motorola Moto G8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, else you can save some dollars and get the Motorola Moto G8, resigning some specs and features.
