ZTE Axon 20 has a general score of 77.8, which is a bit better than the Motorola Moto G8's 74.4 overall score. Even though ZTE Axon 20 is a little heavier than the Motorola Moto G8, it's thinner and also newer. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so both should provide the user identical OS features.
ZTE Axon 20 features a more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G8, because it has a higher pixels number in each inch in the display, a bit larger display and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels. The Moto G8 counts with a quite bigger memory for games and applications than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports up to 512 GB.
ZTE Axon 20 features just a bit better processing power than Motorola Moto G8, and although they both have 8 cores, the ZTE Axon 20 also has 4 GB more RAM. The ZTE Axon 20 counts with a very superior camera than Moto G8, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the ZTE Axon 20 also counts with higher video frame rates and a camera with much more mega-pixels.
The ZTE Axon 20 counts with a little better battery life than Motorola Moto G8, because it has a 6% greater battery size.
Although ZTE Axon 20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto G8. So if you need that extra features, you can buy ZTE Axon 20, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Moto G8, giving up some features and specs.
