Galaxy XCover 5 is slightly better than the Moto G82, having a 78.1 score against 74.7. The Galaxy XCover 5 construction is a little bit lighter than the Moto G82, but it's somewhat thicker and was released about 14 months before. These devices use Android OS, but Galaxy XCover 5 has 11 version while Moto G82 has Android 12.

The Moto G82 and the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 both feature similar screens, although the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has a little bit smaller screen, a just a bit inferior amount of pixels per inch of screen and a way worse 720 x 1480 pixels resolution. The Moto G82 has a greater memory for apps and games than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have an external memory card slot that admits up to 1 TB, the Moto G82 also has 128 GB internal memory.

Galaxy XCover 5 has a really superior performance than Motorola Moto G82, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Moto G82 has a superior battery duration than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. The Moto G82 takes better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a same size aperture and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Moto G82 also has a much better resolution back-facing camera and better video frame rate.
