Xperia 1 has an overall score of 82.6, which is much better than Moto G82's global score of 74.7. The Xperia 1 body is a lot older, a bit thicker and just a little heavier than the Moto G82. Sony Xperia 1 features a way better screen than Motorola Moto G82, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way better 1644 x 3840 resolution and way more pixels per inch of screen.

The Moto G82 has a little bit better memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia 1, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Moto G82 also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB. Xperia 1 has a much better performance than Motorola Moto G82. Both have a Octa-Core processor and 6 GB of RAM.

Moto G82 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light images and video, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Moto G82 also counts with better video frame rate and a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels.

Moto G82 features a much better battery duration than Xperia 1, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
