Moto G84 is just a bit better than the Moto Z3 Play, getting a score of 80.9 against 76.3. Moto G84's design is a lot newer and incredibly lighter, but also a bit thicker than Moto Z3 Play. The Motorola Moto G84 features a brighter screen than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because it has a bit larger screen, a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a just a bit better pixels quantity per inch in the display.
Motorola Moto Z3 Play has a better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto G84, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Moto Z3 Play has a much better performing processing unit than Motorola Moto G84, although it has 8 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Moto G84 takes much better pictures and videos than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for taking photographs and videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Moto G84 also counts with better video frame rates, a back facing camera with much more MP and a much larger sensor which offers a lot better image and video quality.
Motorola Moto G84 features a superior battery duration than Moto Z3 Play, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
