The Moto G84 has a general score of 80.9, which is just a bit better than the Xperia XA2 Plus's 78.6 global score. Both devices in this review include Android OS, but Moto G84 has the previous 13 version and Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Moto G84 design is extremely newer, incredibly thinner and extremely lighter than Xperia XA2 Plus.
The Moto G84 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a little bit more pixels per screen inch, a quite bigger display and a really brighter display. Xperia XA2 Plus has a very superior performance than Moto G84, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Moto G84 features a better storage to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Moto G84 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have the same video quality, the Moto G84 also has faster 60 frames per second video frame rates, a much bigger sensor which provides a lot better photo and video quality, a larger aperture for better images and video in poorly lited situations and a much more megapixels camera in the back.
The Motorola Moto G84 has a really longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
