The Asus ROG Phone 6 is a bit better than Motorola Moto G9 Play, getting a 79.1 score against 76.7. The Asus ROG Phone 6 body is newer than the Motorola Moto G9 Play's, but it's heavier and thicker. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus ROG Phone 6 has newer 12 version while Motorola Moto G9 Play has Android 10 version, providing you a couple nice extra features and performance enhancements.
