Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 is slightly better than Motorola Moto G9 Play, getting a global score of 79.5 against 76.7. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Moto G9 Play has Android 10 version, providing you a couple additional features. The Huawei Mate 20 is an older device than Motorola Moto G9 Play, but it's a little lighter and just a little bit thinner anyway.
Huawei Mate 20 has just a bit better hardware performance than Moto G9 Play. Both have a 4 GB RAM memory and 8 cores. The Huawei Mate 20 has a much sharper display than Moto G9 Play, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Huawei Mate 20 also has a greater pixel amount in each inch of display and a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels.
The Moto G9 Play captures much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Moto G9 Play also has a way more MP camera in the back, faster 60 frames per second video frame rate, a bigger diafragm aperture for better low light captures and videos and a much bigger back camera sensor shooting way higher quality videos and pictures.
The Motorola Moto G9 Play has a quite bigger memory to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Moto G9 Play counts with superior battery duration than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
