The LG V40 ThinQ has a score of 81.2, which is a little bit better than the Moto G9 Play's global score of 76.7. LG V40 ThinQ's construction is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than the Moto G9 Play, despite of the fact that it was released around 23 months before. These phones come with the same Android 10 operating system.
LG V40 ThinQ features a much better screen than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better pixel amount per display inch and a much better resolution of 1440 x 3120. The LG V40 ThinQ features a lot bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola Moto G9 Play, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB.
The LG V40 ThinQ counts with just a little better hardware performance than Moto G9 Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Motorola Moto G9 Play shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for shooting pictures or videos in low light environments, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Motorola Moto G9 Play also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photos and a way more mega pixels back-facing camera.
Moto G9 Play features a much longer battery life than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
