LG Velvet is better than Moto G9 Play, getting an 87.1 score against 76.7. LG Velvet's construction is thinner and a bit lighter than the Moto G9 Play, although they were only released with a couple of months difference. LG Velvet counts with a bit faster CPU than Moto G9 Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG Velvet also has 2 GB more RAM.
The LG Velvet counts with a much better display than Moto G9 Play, because it has a little bigger screen, more pixels per inch of screen and a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2460. The LG Velvet counts with a much better memory capacity to install games and applications than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage.
The Motorola Moto G9 Play counts with improved battery lifetime than LG Velvet, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. LG Velvet counts with just a bit better camera than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos and video and a smaller back-facing camera sensor shooting worse quality videos and photographs, and they both have a same resolution camera, the LG Velvet also counts with a way better video definition.
