Motorola Edge 20 is much better than the Moto G9 Play, with a global score of 86.1 against 76.7. Motorola Edge 20 is a newer cellphone, and it's also a lot thinner and somewhat lighter than Moto G9 Play. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Motorola Edge 20 has newer 11 version while Moto G9 Play has Android 10 version, so it gives a couple additional features and improved performance.
Motorola Edge 20 features a brighter screen than Moto G9 Play, because it has a bit larger screen, a way higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and more pixels per inch of screen.
