The Moto G31 has an overall score of 77, which is a bit better than the Moto G9 Play's 76.7 score. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but Moto G31 has a newer 11 version and Moto G9 Play has Android 10 version, so it offers a couple nice extra features and increased performance. The Moto G31 design is newer, just a little bit thinner and just a little bit lighter than Moto G9 Play.
Motorola Moto G31's processing unit is just as good as Moto G9 Play's processing unit, both have the same RAM amount and 8 cores. The Moto G31 has a more vivid display than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a way greater pixels density.
The Motorola Moto G31 has a greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Moto G9 Play, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Motorola Moto G31 also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB. Motorola Moto G9 Play and Moto G31 count with incredibly similar batteries performance.
The Moto G9 Play captures clearer photographs and videos than Moto G31, because although it has a lower video quality and a lesser mega-pixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture for better photography and video in poorly lited environments.
