Moto Z3 has a score of 77.6, which is slightly better than Moto G9 Play's 76.7 score. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Moto Z3 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Moto G9 Play has Android 10, giving lots of additional features. Despite of the fact that the Moto Z3 is way older than the Moto G9 Play, it's construction is noticeably lighter and thinner.
The Motorola Moto Z3 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Motorola Moto G9 Play. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and 4 GB of RAM memory. The Moto Z3 counts with a brighter display than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels amount per inch in the display and a lot better 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution.
Motorola Moto G9 Play takes much clearer photos and videos than Motorola Moto Z3, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Motorola Moto G9 Play also has better video frame rates, a way larger sensor, a larger camera aperture for better captures in low-light situations and a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera.
The Moto Z3 features a very superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Moto G9 Play, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Moto Z3 also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Motorola Moto G9 Play features a superior battery life than Moto Z3, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
