Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy J8 is a little bit better than Motorola Moto G9 Play, with a 76.7 score against 76.7. Both devices we compare here come with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so both of them should provide all the same OS features. Even though Samsung Galaxy J8 is noticeably older than Motorola Moto G9 Play, it's design is somewhat thinner and lighter.

Samsung Galaxy J8 and Motorola Moto G9 Play both have extremely similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy J8 has a quite lower resolution of 720 x 1480 pixels and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little greater quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen. Motorola Moto G9 Play counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy J8. They have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount.

The Motorola Moto G9 Play takes much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and a same size aperture, the Motorola Moto G9 Play also has a much bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting much higher quality photos, faster video frame rate and a lot better 48 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.

The Moto G9 Play has a little bit more memory for apps and games than Galaxy J8, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Moto G9 Play also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. The Motorola Moto G9 Play features a superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a 43% more battery size.
