The Samsung Galaxy M30 has a score of 82.4, which is just a bit better than Moto G9 Play's 76.7 overall score. Despite of the fact that the Samsung Galaxy M30 is older than the Moto G9 Play, it's construction is somewhat lighter and a bit thinner. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy M30 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Moto G9 Play has Android 10 version.
Motorola Moto G9 Play features a little better processing power than Galaxy M30, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy M30 has a more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher display density and a much higher 1080 x 2280 resolution.
The Galaxy M30 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Motorola Moto G9 Play, and although they both have a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy M30 also has more internal memory capacity. The Moto G9 Play features a very superior camera than Galaxy M30, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Moto G9 Play also has a way bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a much better 48 MP resolution back facing camera, a larger aperture and faster 60 frames per second video frame rate.
Galaxy M30 and Motorola Moto G9 Play have quite similar batteries.
