The Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is a bit better than Motorola Moto G9 Play's 76.7 global score. Both devices in our current comparison have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Moto G9 Play has Android 10. Galaxy Note8's design is just a little thinner and a bit lighter than the Motorola Moto G9 Play, even though it was released many years before.

The Galaxy Note8 features a lot better display than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a lot more pixels per display inch. The Galaxy Note8 features a bit faster processing unit than Moto G9 Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note8 also has 2 GB more RAM.

Motorola Moto G9 Play counts with a better camera than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have a same size aperture and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Motorola Moto G9 Play also has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor, a camera in the back with a way higher 48 megapixels resolution and higher 60 fps video frame rates.

The Moto G9 Play counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Moto G9 Play also has an external SD slot that supports up to 512 GB.
