The Sony Xperia 1 VI has a global score of 83.2, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto G9 Play's overall score of 76.7. The Sony Xperia 1 VI is a way thinner and way lighter cellphone than the Motorola Moto G9 Play. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia 1 VI has 14 version while Motorola Moto G9 Play has Android 10 version, so it gives lots of additional features and improved performance.
The Xperia 1 VI counts with a sharper screen than Moto G9 Play, because it has a way greater display pixels density, a way better 1644 x 3840 resolution and a little bit bigger display. The Sony Xperia 1 VI counts with a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because it has 192 GB more internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1 TB.
