The Xperia XA2 Plus has an overall score of 78.6, which is slightly better than Motorola Moto G9 Play's general score of 76.7. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but Xperia XA2 Plus has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Motorola Moto G9 Play has Android 10 version, so it gives lots of additional features. The Xperia XA2 Plus body is extremely older, just a bit thicker and just a little heavier than Motorola Moto G9 Play.
The Xperia XA2 Plus features a sharper screen than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixel quantity per inch of display and a much higher 1080 x 2160 resolution. Xperia XA2 Plus features a bit better processing power than Moto G9 Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has 2 GB more RAM.
Motorola Moto G9 Play has just a bit more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Motorola Moto G9 Play also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Motorola Moto G9 Play has a little bit better camera than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have the same video resolution, the Motorola Moto G9 Play also has a bigger aperture to capture better photos in low-light situations, a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot better quality pictures, a back-facing camera with way more megapixels and faster 60 frames per second video frame rate.
The Moto G9 Play has a much better battery lifetime than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 40% bigger battery size.
