Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has an overall score of 81.1, which is just a bit better than the Moto G9 Play's global score of 76.7. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro design is just a little bit heavier but a bit thinner than the Moto G9 Play, and they were released with only a couple months difference. Both devices we are comparing include the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any difference regarding OS features.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a bit more powerful processing unit than Moto G9 Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a better looking screen than Moto G9 Play, because it has a much higher 1080 x 2400 resolution, more pixels per inch in the display and a little bit bigger display.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro captures just a bit better videos and photos than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have a 0.59 inches back-facing camera sensor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a camera in the back with a much higher resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's memory to install applications and games is just as good as the Motorola Moto G9 Play one, they have the same 64 GB internal storage and a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery lifetime in Motorola Moto G9 Play, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a 5020mAh battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.
