Huawei Mate 40 Pro is much better than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, getting a score of 90.9 against 80.5. Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a a little bit lighter and just a little bit thinner phone than the Motorola Moto G9 Plus, although both were released with only 2 months difference. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding OS features.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a little bit better looking display than Moto G9 Plus, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a higher resolution of 1334 x 2772 pixels and a just a bit greater display pixels density.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a little bit better camera than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a back-facing camera with much less mega pixels resolution, a lower 3840x2160 video definition and a tinier aperture which is not good for taking photographs and/or video in low-light situations, it also counts with a lot bigger sensor which provides a much higher image and video quality.
