Comparison review
The Motorola Moto G9 Plus has a global score of 80.5, which is just a bit better than the Huawei P40 Lite's 79.5 general score. Despite being the best phone in our current comparison, Motorola Moto G9 Plus's design is heavier and somewhat thicker than Huawei P40 Lite. Both of these phones work with the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding OS features.
Huawei P40 Lite counts with a bit more vivid display than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels, it also counts with a little higher screen pixels density. Huawei P40 Lite features a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P40 Lite also has more RAM.
The Moto G9 Plus features a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Moto G9 Plus also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 512 GB. Moto G9 Plus features superior battery duration than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
The Motorola Moto G9 Plus captures better photos and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the Motorola Moto G9 Plus also has a camera in the back with lot more mega pixels, a much higher video resolution and a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality.
