Huawei P40 Pro has a global score of 88.2, which is a bit better than Motorola Moto G9 Plus's 80.5 global score. These phones work with the same Android 10 operating system. Huawei P40 Pro is a just a little bit thinner and a bit lighter phone than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, even when both of them were only released with a couple months difference.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a bit better CPU than Moto G9 Plus, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Huawei P40 Pro has a bit sharper display than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher pixels count per display inch and a little higher resolution of 1200 x 2640 pixels.
Moto G9 Plus features a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Moto G9 Plus also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
