Comparison review

Motorola Moto G9 Plus is a little bit better than Motorola Edge 40, having a score of 80.5 against 77.2. Although it's the best in this comparison, we must tell that it's also a way older, much heavier and extremely thicker phone. These devices come with Android OS, but the Motorola Moto G9 Plus has an older 10 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13.

The Motorola Moto G9 Plus counts with a way better performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a much better display than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2400px, the Motorola Edge 40 also counts with a just a bit greater pixels amount per inch in the screen.

Moto G9 Plus takes slightly better photographs and videos than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a smaller sensor capturing worse quality photographs and a much smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light photography and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Moto G9 Plus also counts with a back facing camera with a lot higher 64 mega pixels resolution.

Moto G9 Plus counts with much more storage for apps and games than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Moto G9 Plus also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Moto G9 Plus counts with a bit superior battery performance than Motorola Edge 40, because it has a 14 percent more battery capacity.
