The Motorola Moto G9 Plus has a global score of 80.5, which is a little bit better than Moto G8 Power's 76 overall score. The Motorola Moto G9 Plus construction has the same thickness than the Moto G8 Power, but it is heavier. These phones use the same Android 10 OS (operating system). The Motorola Moto G9 Plus features a little bit better processing power than Motorola Moto G8 Power. They have 4 GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores.
Moto G8 Power features a display that's just as good as the display in Moto G9 Plus, because although the Moto G8 Power has a little bit smaller screen and a bit worse 1080 x 2300px resolution, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels density. The Moto G9 Plus features a much bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Moto G9 Plus also has 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Moto G8 Power counts with a battery performance that is just as good as Motorola Moto G9 Plus's battery duration. Moto G9 Plus counts with a better camera than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for capturing photos and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Moto G9 Plus also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back facing camera with a way better 64 MP resolution.
